This is the "9258-PING", it van be controlled webbased, but also performs automatic tasks by PING commands !
The new "Aviosys 9258 PING" can ping automatically to other IP-devices (server, computers, etc), totally 4 pcs that are connected. When no reply from the devices, the 9258-PING will automatically restart the corresponding power port for that device. Note : This function can of course only be used with devices that can be �pinged�.
Ideal to reset your ADSL modem/router automatically (Watchdog function), or or to automatically reset servers that are crashed. |
